The Police have arrested a 57-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of fraudulent possession of bicycles.

On 5 April 2020 at about 3.50 pm, the Police received a report that a bicycle was stolen at Pasir Ris Drive 6.

Through ground enquiries and with the aid of images from police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 7 April 2020.The man was also found to be in possession of several bicycles which were believed to be fraudulently obtained.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Anyone convicted for the offence of fraudulent possession of items shall be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year, or a fine not exceeding $3,000, or both.
