In view of the COVID-19 situation, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) has decided to cancel the remaining large-scale physical Police Bicentennial commemorative events that were scheduled to be held in 2020.
The SPF200 Musical, SPF200 Parade and Show, and the Police Community Roadshows, which were scheduled to be held in the second half of 2020, will be cancelled, as they would involve large audiences or crowds for a prolonged period of time, which will increase the risk of transmission of COVID-19.
Members of the public can still look forward to the launch of the Police Heritage Trail and the virtual SPF200 exhibition later this year to learn more about SPF’s rich heritage and policing journey. They can visit www.police.gov.sg/spf200 for more information on SPF200.
