The Police have arrested 24-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of outrage of modesty.
On 19 August 2021, at about 6.45pm, the Police received a report that a 49-year-old woman had allegedly been molested by an unknown man along Woodlands Drive 16.
Through extensive ground enquiries and with the aid of Police cameras, officers from Woodlands Police Division arrested the man within two hours of the report.
The man will be charged in court on 21 August 2021 with outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code. The offence carries an imprisonment term of up two years, a fine, caning or a combination of such punishments.
