The 19th Shangri-La Dialogue will be held in Singapore from 10 to 12 June 2022 at the Shangri-La Hotel.

The Police will be conducting security checks on vehicles at and around Shangri-La Hotel as part of a security operation. The public is advised to comply strictly with the instructions of the Police at these stations and any non-compliance will be dealt with firmly in accordance with the law.

Motorists are advised to avoid the surrounding roads of Shangri-La Hotel, especially Anderson Road and Orange Grove Road, to avoid delay and plan their journey early by taking note of the following:

  1. Use Scotts Road if proceeding to:

    1. Stevens Road from Tanglin Road; or

    2. Orchard Road from Stevens Road; or

    3. Balmoral Road; and


  2. Use Draycott Park or Draycott Drive if going to Ardmore Park i.e. no through road between Ardmore Park lamp post 8 and Anderson Road from 11.00 pm on Thursday, 9 June 2022 to 5.00 pm on Sunday, 12 June 2022.

In addition, entry of commercial vehicles (with vehicle registration plates starting with “G, W, X and Y”) into Anderson Road will be restricted.

As parking within Shangri-La Hotel will be limited, hotel visitors are advised to carpool or take public transport. Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking illegally or causing obstruction will be towed.

During this period, the public is also advised not to conduct any aerial activities (i.e. flying of unmanned aircraft, kite-flying and hoisting of captive balloon) in the area and its vicinity.
