On 14 June 2022 at about 7.00pm, the Police were alerted to a case where a man had allegedly assaulted another woman in the vicinity of Block 35 Chai Chee Avenue. Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was involved in a dispute with a 48-year-old woman, and he allegedly punched her in the face and fled the scene. The woman was conveyed conscious to the hospital.

Through extensive ground enquiries and with the aid of Police cameras, officers from Bedok Police Division established the identity of the man and arrested him on 18 June 2022.
