The Police have arrested a 59-year-old man for his suspected involvement in the murder of a 61-year-old man.
On 17 March 2023 at about 10.50am, the Police were alerted to a case of murder at a residential unit at Redhill Close. Upon arrival, officers found a 61-year-old man lying motionless with multiple wounds inside the unit. He was subsequently pronounced dead by paramedics at scene. The 59-year-old man, who is a co-tenant of the 61-year-old man, was arrested at scene.
The 59-year-old man will be charged in court on 18 March 2023 with murder under Section 302(1) of the Penal Code 1871. The offence of murder carries the death penalty. Police investigations are ongoing.
