The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2023 will be held at the Marina Centre and Padang area from Friday, 15 September 2023 to Sunday, 17 September 2023.

There will be a series of road closures to facilitate the setting up and dismantling of the race infrastructure for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2023 from Wednesday, 13 September 2023 to Tuesday, 19 September 2023. Members of the public may refer to the Land Transport Authority’s OneMotoring website for more details.

To facilitate the race, the following roads and lanes will be closed to vehicular traffic during the stipulated periods:

During the closures, access will only be granted to authorised vehicles as well as police and emergency vehicles. Auxiliary police officers and traffic marshals will be deployed at the affected junctions to assist and direct motorists.

Traffic delays are expected along Bayfront Avenue, Beach Road, Bras Basah Road, Cecil Street, Collyer Quay, Marina Boulevard, Middle Road, Nicoll Highway, North Bridge Road, Ophir Road, Robinson Road, Rochor Road, Sheares Avenue, Sheares Link, and Temasek Boulevard. Motorists are to plan their routes early and avoid these roads. Members of the public travelling to these affected areas are strongly encouraged to use public transport.

Similarly, motorists proceeding to Suntec City from Bayfront Avenue, Bras Basah Road or Nicoll Highway are advised to use an alternate route via Rochor Road leading to Temasek Boulevard.

Parking restrictions along the affected roads and lanes will be strictly enforced. Vehicles found parking illegally or causing obstruction will be towed.

After the race ends each day, dispersal is likely to be slow due to the large crowds expected at the Marina Bay area. Members of the public are advised to be patient and to follow the direction of the marshals as well as the Police.

As City Hall MRT is expected to be very crowded during dispersal, commuters are advised to use alternative MRT stations such as Clarke Quay, Esplanade and Raffles Place.

Members of the public may contact the organiser at 62297777 for further enquiries on the road closures.
