Members of the public attending the election meetings, motorists and residents at or near the vicinity of the election meetings, are advised on the following:

  1. As large crowds are expected at the election meeting sites, attendees are strongly encouraged to take public transport. Motorists should be prepared for traffic diversions, lane closures and expect slower traffic in general.
  2. To ensure public safety and to facilitate crowd dispersal from the election meeting site, the bus stop (bus stop no: 84051) located next to Bedok Stadium along New Upper Changi Road, will be closed from 9.30pm to 10.30pm.
  3. The pick-up and drop-off points for ride-hailing services/operators may be affected by traffic diversions and lane closures. Users of such ride-hailing services should take note of any changes through the services’ apps.
  4. Carparks in the vicinity of the election meeting sites will be restricted to Season Parking holders only. Vehicles found illegally parked and/or causing obstruction may be towed away.
  5. As there is a crowd capacity limit at each election meeting site, attendees are advised to arrive early and follow the instructions of the ushers, marshals and police officers deployed on site.
  6. Follow the directional signages deployed in the vicinity of the election meeting sites (please refer to Annex A).
  7. Security checks in and around the election meeting sites may be conducted. The public is advised not to bring large bags or any dangerous items as listed in Annex B

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (“CAAS”) will establish Temporary Restricted Areas (“TRA”) over all election meeting sites (as shown in Annex C) on 29 April 2025. For the lunch-time election meeting at the Promenade Area beside UOB Plaza, the TRA will be established from 11am to 4pm. For the other evening election meeting sites, the TRAs will be established from 6pm to 11pm. During these times, the flying of unmanned aircraft and conduct of other aerial activities (such as kite-flying and hoisting of captive balloons) are prohibited within and into the TRA, unless authorised by CAAS. Members of the public can also refer to OneMap for information on the TRA.

Members of the public attending the election meeting at the Promenade Area beside UOB Plaza on 29 April 2025 are encouraged to check the Crowd@UOBPlaza (https://go.gov.sg/crowd-at-uob-plaza), for information on real-time crowd levels, area closures and available transport nodes.
